Safety Policy Development

One of the worst things that could happen to you as an employer is to have to inform the relative or next-of-kin of one of your employees that they have suffered a serious accident - or worse - at your place of work.

The one comfort you will have in this difficult situation however will be the ability to tell the next-of-kin and your Insurer that you took ALL reasonable steps towards providing a safe working environment. Part of that means having a working Safety Policy. 

Section 20 of Ireland's Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires that employers prepare a written Safety Statement for their company. This statement is effectively a company's Health & Safety Management system for ensuring the safety, health and welfare of all its employees while at work.

Risk Assessments

Risk Assessments sound daunting and arduous but the reality is everyone conducts Risk Assessments every time they cross a road or check the weather forecast. However in a business context, SM Safety brings you 20 years of experience and knowledge meaning we can quickly and efficiently identify risks in your workplace and propose solutions to minimise them.
